For nearly 16 decades and four generations, the Steinman family of Lancaster owned and operated local newspapers serving Lancaster County. In July 2023, Steinman Communications, which is owned by the Steinman family, gifted those newspapers and their marketing agency, which had become LNP Media Group, to WITF as a capstone to the family’s two centuries of community service and philanthropy.

Together, WITF and LNP Media Group are creating a new mission-driven and sustainable model for local news, community education and civic engagement in the region.

Steinman Communications now comprises Lancaster Farming, Susquehanna Printing, and Steinman Real Estate. Lancaster Farming is an award-winning weekly newspaper serving the agricultural community in the mid-Atlantic region. Lancaster Farming’s companion news website is LancasterFarming.com, and their sales and marketing site is LancasterFarming.ag.

Susquehanna Printing is a state-of-the art regional printing, mailing, and finishing facility, with a Goss Universal 70 offset press, a Heidelberg 632 inserter, and other stitching, pasting, trimming and mailing equipment.

Steinman Real Estate owns various real estate interests, the most predominant of which are multi-family residential properties.
