    Associated Builders & Contractors, Keystone Chapter, is a trade organization covering 33 counties and representing more than 650 businesses in the commercial construction industry. ABC was founded on the principle that free enterprise is fundamental to our nation’s success and the core purpose is to advance and defend the principles of free enterprise in the construction industry and to provide members and their employees with an opportunity to succeed.

    Opportunity Overview

    NO-COST Construction Camp for Girls Ages 14-19

    June 17-20, 2024 | 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

    All ’bout Construction Girls Camp educates and engages young girls so they can explore the industry through hands-on activities and learn from women in the industry. In addition to learning more about the trades, the girls will visit local job sites hosted by construction companies in the area. They will also have the opportunity to build take-home projects and participate in two-panel discussions featuring women who will share how and why they got into construction and why they love the industry.

    Our mission is to educate, strengthen, and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. This event is possible through the Trimmer Construction Education Fund and The Lancaster County Workforce Development Board funding.

    • Girls ages 14-19 have the opportunity to explore careers in construction through inspiration and mentoring from industry professionals.
    • Applicants must reside in one of 33 counties within the ABC Keystone footprint in central Pennsylvania.

    • Gain effectiveness in problem-solving and managing team dynamics through individual and group activities.
    • Build a take-home project & attend local field trips.
