  • About The Company

Based in Lititz, PA, Precision Cobotics is a lean integrator providing robotic automation solutions.  Most often our systems are purchased to allow manufactures to scale their production to meet increasing demand or to implement inspection solutions to improve product quality.  Example applications include machine tending and AI driven part inspection.

We believe in creating accessible automation that allows customers of all experience levels to succeed with automation.  Our role is ensuring the solutions are designed so the customer can take ownership of systems and facilitating training for the customer when needed to make that possible.

Within the Lancaster area, we believe in giving back by investing in the next generation by being involved in educational programs in our area high school and college communities.  By opening the eyes of our future workforce to automation and manufacturing careers, we will create a strong workforce and stable economy.

    Opportunity Overview

    Automation Engineering Mini Job Shadow

The Automation Engineering Mini Job Shadow is an opportunity for high school STEM students looking to take their education outside of the classroom and gain real world experience with automation and robotics technologies.

The high school students will get to work alongside our team of high school interns, college engineering students, and Precision Cobotics Professional Staff. They will be experiencing whatever is going on in our lab that day as our full-time employees work to solve real world automation problems.

Students will get to experience a taste of what the life of an Automation Engineer is like. This experience is a phenomenal opportunity for high school students because they will be working with and around students of similar age. The lab is also located at Millersville University, so students will also get to experience not only the work environment but also the dynamics of a college campus.

Students will gain valuable experience in:

    • Robotics
    • Manufacturing
    • Drafting/CAD
    • Coding/Programming
    • Problem Solving

While attending their Mini Job Shadow students will also get to see surrounding labs located at Millersville University.
